caramel-candy

You smell like caramel,
your skin is like caramel,
You are caramel.
Sweet, comforting,
but after too much of you I get sick and we all know you're not good for me.

***

Sweetness to my lips, warming of my heart, filling me up.
I can’t let you go.
Poison to my blood, rotting of my teeth, fattening me up.
I love you so.
In loneliness you are my everything
I liken you to an angel, a saviour, a knight in shining armour.

Mon amour in shining night,
Mon amour, but a man in the cold daylight.
