I have worked as a teacher/ lecturer for the past 28 years. In the course of this experience, I have had to engage in research on a wide variety of subjects and topics related to my specialist areas of literacy and language.
I currently work as both a face-to-face lecturer, and an online facilitator. My roles include teacher training and research supervision of students doing a Bachelor's degree, and Masters.
My writing career was born out of my love for reading. As a child, my muse was the rain. Reading books became my muse from my early teenage years, and later the courses that I taught inspired me to produce content for my students.
The result of the above has been published works of both fiction and non-fiction comprising short stories and poems; student texts in literacy, and extensive course writing. I have also written business plans, and unpublished articles. Currently I am working on a novel titled Oh Susannah.
