Namaste

Random strangers crossing in the street

Namaste she said to me

Hands joined as she nodded her head

Engaging my heart without deviating

Arrow straight to my soul

Stood out unlike anyone else

I could tell her heart was pure

She was coming from a place of peace

Her soul untroubled and serene

Her eyes vast expanses of gentleness

That was it

Her gift

Namaste

And she walked away
