I smile at my reflection. My black tights were a contrast to my bright purple glasses but my black sweater matched them.
I grabbed a granola bar and headed to the car where mum was waiting.
"Morning." She greeted as I buckled my seat belt.
"Morning," I replied and she drove out. I spent the thirty-minute drive admiring my new backpack even though I won't need it after today. I also read my history book

I arranged my books chronologically in my locker and buried my chronicle at the end along with my bottle of glitter. Now for my first class. Based on my schedule I have let's see history.
I read my history book in the car and I know we will discuss the Russian Dictatorship.

I enterèd the class five minutes ago and it seems no one cares about my presence. I close my book and put it under my desk. I bravely approach a pretty blonde sipping a drink from the Starbucks cup she was holding. I'm guessing espresso.
"Sup," I greeted awkwardly. She stared at me shocked before she started.
"OMG, guys this greenhorn here just spoke to me," She yelled and they started laughing at me. I didn't know why they were laughing. She didn't make a joke.
"You didn't make a joke so why are they laughing?" Asked I bewildered. They continued to laugh and I reluctantly went to my place, not knowing what to do.
