The Nupe Tribe of Nigeria

The Nupe people are a tribe of people located in the small town of Bida, Niger State, Nigeria. The town of Bida is the world headquarters of all Nupe speaking people and consists of people from different parts of the state. 

The town is ruled by a supreme ruler who is the Emir, and known in the local dialect as the "Etsu Nupe". The Etsu rules over the town and is the supreme ruler and chairman of all traditional rulers across the state.
