The Stage of Giving up

In and During our lives we seem to be pushed to the edge with difficult situations, challanging choices and impossible solutions. During these trials and tribulations, we get thrown around side ways, up or down, back and forth like a ship caught in a storm. Were nothing looks like a little bit of hope but just downfall. Were the smallest ray of sun is hidden from our sights. We forget all our training in faith and so easily push the Bible aside with the excuse of “no time, my issue is too big”. We pray but expect a “quick fix”. We ask for deliverance but want it NOW!!. We ask for answers but are deaf to the right answer or we do not like what we hear. When it goes good we place God in the cupboard of our hearts but when it goes bad we expect Him to show up immediately and leave everything to give us attention RIGHT NOW. We are easily to place the blame and show fingers and say “ its your fault” or “you got us into this now get us out” or we choose to hide behind the rock of bitterness or the mountain of selfpitty. So now I ask you this …… When Jesus was cruisified, did He give up when they poked spears in his ribs. Did Jesus say I don’t have time to say Halo to My Father. Did Jesus say “no sorry Lord I cant do this” when God asked Him to sacrifice Himself for our sins. People’s sins that werent even born yet. Did Jesus give in when He was mocked, spat at, thrown with stones, wipped, carried a cross a lot heavier than His own weight? He HAD to go through the difficult sacrifice because the reward was what He had in sight. The love He felt for us. The knowledge of what we would face in our lives. His fondness of us. There were no turning back only one way forward. We are small minded and men / woman of very little faith. We face a storm and immediately we accept defeat even before the battle has begun. We give up so easily but forget that Jesus ordered the storm to go to rest when the boat was sinking. we so easily forget the Miracles He performed that was huminly impossible. When a child is born, they don’t immedialty stand up and walk, talk, eat, write etc. it’s a learning phase each day for them to become prepared for the future. And nothing can be hasted, it takes time to learn the tools to take on each day. We cannot expect things to happen now because we say so. Therefore the Word of God also says, our crosses / burden are not for us to carry alone. He also says were 2 or more are gathered in My name.., note 2 or more not 10 or more, just 2 or more can make a huge difference. Is it not then also why God places 2 people in a relationship or marriage? So the one can become the others pilar of strenght, anchor, captain, laywer, navigator, pilot, beacon of hope and faith and love. Your cross at that moment might seem impossible to carry and you are possible thingking of making it shorter, but don’t because further down the road you might reach a cliff and your cross becomes your bridge that will create a path for you to cross over to the other side. If you shorten it you wont make it across the cliff. But the second question then is, are you really ready to just accept defeat or are you ready to soldier up and say to the devil “not today satan, not today”. Why accept your defeat and stripped God of miracles He can create in your life. Preventing Him from doing wonders for you for your tongue have already declared surrender. No!!! stand up and soldier up. Ephesians 6:10-18 “The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Don’t become a another win for satan but become a winner for God. Turn your test into a testimony and your mess into a message. Don’t blame but unite. Don’t hide but fight. Don’t give up but stand steadfast. No situation is permanent it just takes time to find the right solution but a lesson cant be a lesson if nothing is learned and paid forward. Pray and seek Gods face when ever you get the chance no matter how hurt or humiliated you might feel. We want our children to come to us in time of hurt, humiliation, shame and sadness and will listen to them with calmness, love, patience and honesty. God wants the same from us, but we think He sees it so why tell it, He is also a parent longing for His childrens voices to talk to Him. Don’t wave the wight flag yet, the fight is not over but be still and know that He is God of everything and all things. Don’t expect a quick fix or immediate solution, your situation did not take place immediately it took a while to get there so it might take a while to be corrected but you cannot do it alone. Place God as centre of your life and leave your burdens in His hands, step back and arm yourself with hope and faith, pray for wisdom and clarity and let God take the wheel. May God bless every heart that reads this and hold on, keep believing and have faith in the One who created all.
