I dream a day I dream a night

I dream a day

     With clouds at bay

     And sun shines bright

     To make things right

     Birds in the sky

     Taunt me to fly

     Take off in flight

     Soar to new height

     An inch a mile

     Charge just a smile

     Live to be free

     Roam not to flee

     Feel warm down deep

     Fear not to sleep

     Take a deep breath

     Think not of death

I dream a night

     Where stars are bright

     My eyes in awe

     Find not a flaw

     My mind not flee

     Just think of me

     To slow it down

     With not a frown

     Gaze at the moon

     Glean far the loon

     Fear not a thing

     Hear my heart sing

     Soft and so faint

     This night I paint

     All now can cease

     A time for peace
