Love i gave away

When depth of ocean doesn’t drown you
When deepest fear becomes loosing you
When every wrong makes you feel alright.
How every turn makes me realize
How far we came not knowing the game
That one day it will all be the matter of blame.

We’ll get hurt till we see each other smiling without each other
No wonder how after some years you’d be with whom.
How someday we’ll share strange stares as unknown.
Who knew the hand I used to hold will be locked up with another one,
You were mine but darling I know It all happened for a reason.

So, can I just be the reason of your smile when it’s hurting?
Whatever you give doesn’t always have to come back
Maybe that’s why I let you go that night,
But trust me ever since I’ve been holding back tight.
