You are Not Alone in Your Feelings

Hi,

I know you are reading that now. You will also realize that you relate so much to the words scattered here. You will feel it is too relevant because it describes you best and delves deeper into your heart core. You will say, “finally, somebody understands.” But I would tell you do not worry, you are not the only one reading that, you are not the only one who relates so much to these words. In other words, you are not alone in whatever feelings, desires, fears and thoughts you have. You have no idea how much everyone is almost similar even though we are all different. We look different, we smell different, we talk different, smile, laugh, eat, sit, react, behave and do differently. However, we’re still similar. We are all struggling, we are fighting really hard, we are suffering silently and loudly, we are losing our minds, we feel sad, depressed, disappointed, we feel lost, we feel lonely and we feel emotionally, mentally and physically exhausted. See? You are in a battle are not you? You feel like nobody understands how difficult and tiring it is because no one has ever been in your shoes, isn’t it? You are not the only one here, look around you, and when I say look, I mean zoom into people’s faces, look inside them..what can you see? Smiles, happy faces and beautiful looks similar to how people will see you as well. Look again closer, what do you see? Pain behind smiles, problems, responsibilities, duties, debts, fears, anxiety, depression, disappointments and much more that are concealed. You will understand how much we are similar in fighting our own battles and struggling on our own. You will give more excuses to people, you will forgive more, you will respect them and you will understand because you know exactly how it feels like to be fighting a battle no one knows about. It is okay, we are all on the same road, but we are going on different journeys.  You are a hero, Don’t give up. Life is not always meant to be easy and happy; sometimes it has to be hard just to make you stronger and wiser. But do not forget about all the joyful moments and the countless blessings that you have. A little love will make it less difficult.  Always know that it could have been worse, you are doing good, do not stop there, keep paddling, keep rowing, keep going on even if it means crawling.
