              dark thoughts stir up a

After we talk I enjoy my walk home

       Settles my flurry

highly arrogant in your delusion

       dazed, i watch in disbelief

              bizarre human nature

a hollow reflection in the window

       you thought no one was looking

              eyes lost in the distance

intricate designs grace wintry windows

       frosty lace across the pane

              angels sign their art work

with sterling pen in hand and splintered heart

       sit and wait day after day

              beneath the old

walking noisily crunching underfoot

       autumnal free fall of leaves

              sensations swish around
